Just Another Friday Full of Winter Colors: A Different Perspective on Black Friday
Every year, Black Friday arrives with an intense rhythm: ads everywhere, massive discounts, countdown timers, and a feeling that we must rush to catch whatever is “running out.” This year, I chose to see the day differently. To experience it as a simple, quiet winter Friday filled with color.
The Choice of a Small Business
As a small business, I’ve learned to operate with consistency, transparency, and respect — for the environment and for the people who support my work. That’s why my product prices remain fair and accessible all year round. They don’t need to rise in order to “drop” dramatically for a single day, and I don’t need artificial discounts to communicate value.
My philosophy is simple: fair prices shouldn’t be a once-a-year event — they should be the everyday norm.
A Conscious Approach to Consumption
Black Friday can easily push us toward purchases we don’t truly need. This cycle of buying and wasting feeds a culture of overconsumption, which ultimately harms not only the environment but also the way we perceive the value of the things we choose to bring into our lives.
I believe in calm, mindful consumption. In choosing products that have meaning, longevity, and respect behind them. In creating with intention rather than haste. In quality that speaks without loud, flashy discounts.
Gratitude for Those Who Choose Thoughtfully
The support I receive each day gives me the strength to keep creating at my own pace — a pace that doesn’t follow the current of overconsumption but stays rooted in authenticity.
Thank you, truly, to everyone who supports small businesses. To those who appreciate stability, transparency, and the small acts of care that happen every single day. To those who show that interest and respect don’t require “discounts” to be expressed.
For me, this Friday wasn’t “Black.” It was simply a Friday painted in the colors of winter. And that is its true beauty.
