We are a small, women-owned and ethical business producing fresh cosmetics in small batches. Our love for the earth, nature, and our bodies led us to produce and package high-quality cosmetics that are not tested on animals. All our products are made in Greece by us and are placed in carefully chosen packaging to reduce our environmental footprint. With care, we create and share a piece of our hearts with you.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
With simplicity and truth, we create cosmetics that embrace the whole person. Our simplicity comes from nature, as do all the ingredients we use. We choose to maintain the synergy of our materials and avoid overloading our cosmetics with ingredients that are not easily absorbed by the skin or do not perfectly complement each other. We encourage you to connect with your wholeness, a practice that transcends the superficial and delves into a deeper sense of healthy self. This inherent beauty is a light that emanates from your soul.
SUSTAINABILITY
We believe that respecting the planet and its creatures is an ongoing journey toward betterment. Our goal is to minimize our environmental impact as much as possible. Therefore, we choose plastic-free packaging to encase our cosmetics and ship them without any plastic additions in the parcels. Beyond the labels and packaging, being sustainable is about making ethical decisions regarding our choice of suppliers and the manufacturing of our products. Naturally, we do not conduct any animal testing and proudly know that Myrtia gently cares not only for you but also for the planet, our home.
THE PERSON BEHIND THE IDEA
Myrto Vassilopoulou has loved nature and a life harmonized with it since she was young. Her creative energy, combined with her passion for science, led her to study chemistry at the University of Patras and later natural cosmetics formulation at the University of Athens. Spontaneously, at a young age, she began making cosmetics at home, which gave her great joy and satisfaction. Studying both energy and classical aromatherapy, she deeply connected with the imprint of scent on the human physical and energetic body. During this time, Myrtia blossomed, and people with a shared mindset and love for natural cosmetics began to join this project. Thus, this beautiful outcome we call Myrtia was created.
